オーストラリア北東部ケアンズ郊外、世界遺産にも登録された鬱蒼と生い茂る広大な熱帯雨林のジャングルに今回ご紹介する「パロネラパーク」が存在します。
このパークは、スペインからの移民だった青年が、少年時代から強く心に思い描いていた夢の城を文字通り“自らの手で”作り上げたテーマパーク。それがジブリの世界観とも妙に重なってジブリファンにはたまらない人気のスポットになっています。
The Paronella Park was Mr.Jose Paronella's big dream, who was an immigrant from Spain and the founder. He had a dream to built his own castle since he was child and his dreams came true in the end by his hands. This park situated near the suburb of Cairns, Queensland, Australia, especially it's in Jangle as the world natural heritage.
